There’s no shortage of big and fast gaming monitors these days, actually, but the prices can get crazy pretty quickly if you want both a large panel and a high refresh rate, and even more so if you want one that’s good! AOC has already had huge success with their Q24G2A in China, and from the looks of it, it’s already providing a big hit in the West too. AOC has trimmed the bonus features on this one and kept the size limited to 24″ (really, it’s only 23.8″), to keep the cost down to a very reasonable £220-ish. However, you still get a 165Hz refresh rate, low input latency, and a QHD 2560 x 1440 IPS panel, that’s both Adaptive Sync and Nvidia G-Sync compatible… not bad at all!
“Q24G2AE/BK is a model suitable for all users who demand high performance. It boasts QHD resolution, low input lag and a wide color gamut combined with a height-adjustable stand. The refresh rate of 165 Hz, the fast response time of 1 ms MPRT and the support of Adaptive Sync technology of the Q24G2A/BK monitor eliminate image tearing and stuttering.” – AOC
