If you’re looking for a monitor that offers a resolution higher than 1080p yet lower than 4K, then you should probably have a look at this new AOC offering. The Q2577PWQ is a high-quality monitor that features an IPS LCD panel with a native WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, which makes it perfect for gaming or working. Measuring in at 25-inches, the product utilizes a non-PWM brightness adjustment method, which means that it does not produce those awful flickers that damage our eyes.
As far as connectivity is concerned, we should definitely mention the pair of USB 2.0 ports and the two USB 3.0 downstream ports. Video input is ensured by a HDMI port, DVI, D-SUB and DisplayPort, while the audio output is based on a pair of built-in 2W stereo speakers. The panel flaunts a response time of 5 ms as well as a maximum brightness of 350 cd/m², dynamic mega contrast ratio and 178°/178° viewing angles. To make things even better, AOC fitted the display onto a versatile stand that allows the user to rotate it to 90° in order to achieve portrait mode.
The AOC Q2577PWQ will use up a maximum of 55W of power, and while there’s no word on its official price tag just yet, we do know that it will become available for purchase in August.
