AOKZOE has announced an early bird sale to bring interest towards their new A1 Pro handheld powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU.
This new handheld from AOKZOE is the improved version of their current AOKZOE A1 as this new Pro variant is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7840U APU similar to that of the ROG ALLY which uses the customized Z1 variant of this chip. The handheld features an 8″ 1920 x 1200 IPS display and comes in various configurations with its top-end model featuring 64GB of LPDDR5 6400 RAM and 2TB of M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 storage at a price of $1,159. The lowest-end model uses 32GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $799 which is $100 extra than the rumoured price of the ROG ALLY using what is effectively the same chip, just with extra RAM.
The Ryzen 7840U features 8 cores and 16 threads and AOKZOE claims that this chip is capable of boosting to a maximum of 5.1 GHz. The APU is paired with a Radeon 780M RDA 3 iGPU with 12 Compute Units and a maximum frequency of 2200 MHz which performs reasonably well in the benchmarks the company shared. Various titles were shown here at 1920×1200 as well as 1280×800 resolution with games reaching near to 60 FPS across a variety of graphics settings and games.
The AOKZOE A1 Pro is set to launch today and you can find out more on the Aokzoe_official Twitter page as well as the AOKZOE store.
