Aorus 17H i7-13700H & RTX 4080 Gaming Laptop Review

I do love a good gaming laptop, and while I admit that gaming on them can often be a pain in the butt due to things like fan noise, ergonomics, or even just the straight-up cost, there is still a big need for them in today’s market. Not everyone wants or needs to be sat at a full desktop setup all the time, having something much more mobile allows you to be a lot more flexible. Plus, it’s not like “mobile” hardware is a compromise these days, assuming you can afford the best hardware that is.

Performance certainly shouldn’t be an issue for Aorus today though, as their new 17H 2023 Edition Gaming Laptop is an absolute monster, actually, it may just be one of the fastest gaming laptops of all time. It’s powered by the incredible Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, and whatever you bark about price or Nvidia’s practices, I stand by the first part, it’s an incredible GPU. That’s backed up by a choice of 13th Gen Intel Core i9 or i7 CPUs, DDR5 memory, the latest M.2 storage options and more. However, all this comes together on their stunning 17.3″ FHD display with its staggeringly fast 360Hz refresh rate! This should be an absolute beast for gaming.
