AORUS GeForce RTX5090 MASTER ICE 32G Graphics Card Review

A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a stealth-survival horror adventure that serves as a direct sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. Players continue the harrowing journey of Amicia and Hugo de Rune, two young siblings navigating a plague-ridden France in the 14th century. The game features stunning visuals, intense action sequences, and a gripping narrative that explores themes of family, resilience, and the darkness within.

Kicking things off with A Plague Tale and it’s here where the AORUS Master ICE OC demonstrates a modest performance boost compared to the Founders Edition, with a 1% increase in average FPS, which falls within the margin of error and is negligible in real-world use. However, when compared to the Master with the added fan, we see a 2% uplift in average FPS, which is again within the margin of error and suggests that the additional fan doesn’t provide any tangible performance benefits. While the ROG Astral OC edges out the Master by 2%, this too is within the margin of error and the 1% lows remain largely consistent across the board, reinforcing that these differences have minimal impact on the overall gameplay experience.

  1. Well it says 70° but at 1600rpm+ and I can say that my Aorus 5090 is pretty loud at 1600rpm. What you wanna do is you wanna use the silent bios and try to stay below 1300rpm and THAT is pretty difficult unfortunately (be quiet Pure Base 500 with 4 or even 5 fans). I can keep it at 75-78° with 1250-1280rpm but only at a PT of 85%. Anything above 90% and the shit goes up to 80°+ and the fans go up to 1500-1600rpm which is too loud for my taste. I certainly expected better temps (lower noise) with a huge cooler like that but it also requires very good airflow inside the case ofc.
