AORUS GeForce RTX5090 MASTER ICE 32G Graphics Card Review

Starfield

Starfield is a highly anticipated space exploration role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios. It offers a vast and immersive galaxy to explore, with countless planets, star systems, and alien civilizations to discover. Players can create their own custom character and embark on a journey to uncover the secrets of the universe, completing missions, engaging in space combat, and making choices that shape their destiny.

In Starfield, the AORUS Master leads with a solid 125 average FPS, outperforming the Founders Edition by 9%. Adding the extra fan to the Master results in a negligible drop to 123 frames per second, which as you may have guessed, falls within margin of error and has no noticeable impact while the ROG Astral matches the Master with the fan installed at 123 FPS, showing no advantage in average performance. Interestingly, the 1% lows mirror the averages closely, with the Master holding a slight edge at 107 FPS, compared to 104 FPS on the Founders Edition and 106 FPS for the Astral.

  1. Well it says 70° but at 1600rpm+ and I can say that my Aorus 5090 is pretty loud at 1600rpm. What you wanna do is you wanna use the silent bios and try to stay below 1300rpm and THAT is pretty difficult unfortunately (be quiet Pure Base 500 with 4 or even 5 fans). I can keep it at 75-78° with 1250-1280rpm but only at a PT of 85%. Anything above 90% and the shit goes up to 80°+ and the fans go up to 1500-1600rpm which is too loud for my taste. I certainly expected better temps (lower noise) with a huge cooler like that but it also requires very good airflow inside the case ofc.
