Aorus, the gaming division of popular hardware and peripheral manufacturer Gigabyte. Over the years we have seen them release only a few peripherals. However, time and time again they have left us impressed. From their unique gaming keyboards, mice and even a few gaming headsets, they’ve always had something unique to offer to the market.
The new Aorus M3 optical gaming mouse looks set to impress. It features a 6400 DPI optical sensor, Omron switches, RGB fusion customisable lighting, on the fly DPI adjustment, rubber grips, and more. Pretty much everything you would expect from a gaming mouse in today’s market.
Using the latest Pixart 3988 optical gaming sensor, the M3 promises to deliver optimal accuracy for competitive gaming. You can tweak the sensor in 50 DPI increments allowing for plenty of fine-tuning to suit your preferences while working and gaming. The inclusion of well tried and tested Omron switches should deliver reliable performance for at least 20 million clicks. RGB fusion will also allow you to customise the lighting on the mouse with 16.7 Million Colours meaning you’ll never be short of options and can easily find your favourite colours and lighting effects.
“AORUS M3 boasts an enthusiast-grade 6400 DPI optical sensor (Pixart 3988) that gives you the optimal accuracy for competitive gaming. Adjustable in 50 DPI increments further allows you to make seamless transition from your old mouse by fine-tuning to the level that precisely fits your play style.” – Aorus
In the box, you won’t really find anything in the way of extras. The mouse does, however, come hard-wired with a good quality black braided cable and gold plated USB header. The mouse is plug and play ready, however, if you want to get the best performance out of the mouse we recommend you download the software, as this will allow you to customise the lighting and button configuration of the Mouse.
