AORUS Model S 12th Gen Gaming PC Review

I’m a big fan of the Xbox Series X, it delivers killer performance in a really cool form factor. It seems like AORUS love that design too, as they’ve taken a similar approach to their latest PC design, with this stunning vertical rectangle design that’s sure to look great next to your TV or on your desk. Of course, AORUS are a premium and high-end PC gaming brand, so it comes as little surprise that this small 14-litre system is still pretty potent, packing an Intel 12th Gen Core i7-12700K processor paired up with that fantastic Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card.

AORUS Model S

What really makes this case unique is how AORUS has managed to cram all this desktop hardware into such a compact and unique form factor. It uses a proprietary cooling system, which sees thick heatpipes feeding the GPU and CPU into a large heatsink in the middle of the case, with a pair of high-quality fans pushing air vertically through the system. This vertical airflow design with three-way air intakes ensures that all critical hardware gets a constant feed of cool air, while heat leaves the top of the system.

What AORUS Had to Say

“The small yet powerful gaming PC that you’ve been dreaming of is here. The hyper-efficient cooling system comes in stylish, compact fashion. There will never be compromise between space and performance, again. The proprietary hardware built exclusively for the limited volume inside the Model S creates the maximum cooling space and keeps the critical core running at high-performance level stably. Powered by the latest Intel Core i7-12700K processor, the NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics card and loads of high-end components, the true uncompromising performance comes in but one small gaming PC, with the amazing volume of 14 liters. The elements of AORUS are featured in a new fashion of integration, reconstruction, compression and splicing. The appearance implies simplicity, organization and subtlety, yet it is full of exquisite details within its small and limited space.” – AORUS
