CrystalDiskMark Read
The drive says it’ll run a maximum read of 3480, and I’m inclined to believe that is possible. In our tests, it maxed out at 3453.8, which is pretty damn close. With the right scenario, we could easily see that gap closing, but it’s unlikely you’ll max it out anyway with day to day usage.
CrystalDiskMark Write
The write speeds are right on the money too. They say the max write is 2000 MB/s, but ours peaked about 5% above that, with 2045.7 – 2110.5. Again, depending on the file sizes you’re writing, this will vary wildly, but I’m very happy with this result overall.
AIDA64
The same is true here, and with an average of close to 2500 MB/s it’s delivering very quick speeds here. For loading larger files like gamer and video editing, it’ll certainly help you along nicely. Again, it will peak to max speed, depending on the sort of file you’re loading. Smaller files tend to not get up to speed before they’re complete anyway.
