It seems AORUS are out to take the enthusiast market by storm this year. Their new graphics cards are some of the fastest around, their Waterforce series is pushing the performance limits, and now their NMVe drives are dropping jaws too. The new AORUS RGB AIC NVMe SSD is one of the best looking add-in cards I’ve seen at the show. Brushed aluminium exterior, detailed etching on the sides, full aRGB lighting effects, and more.
Of course, it’s aesthetics aren’t the best thing about it. With Toshiba 3D NAND, it features a 512MB DDR Cache, and world-class build quality throughout. It’s available in either 1TB or 512GB variants.
The top model will run 3480 MB/s read and 2080 MB/s write for extreme system performance. The “slower” 512GGB can “only” pull 2100 MB/s write though, but that’s hardly slacking is it.
We would like to thank our wonderful sponsors. We wouldn’t be in Las Vegas without their support. Of course, this allows us to provide coverage of the show for you, our lovely readers! So, thank you to all the wonderful people at SuperO (Supermicro Gaming), Arozzi, EK Waterblocks, Patriot, ASUS RoG, Silverstone, AKRacing, and 1MORE.
We’re here in Las Vegas once again, and we are checking out the latest technology and innovations presented by companies from around the world!
