A Closer Look

The M7 comes hard-wired with a 1.8 meter braided cable. The cable features a gold-plated USB connection and a fixed Velcro strip to help keep the cable neat and tidy.

The mouse features a very aggressive looking design, with a lot of deep curves, sharp angles and strange-looking panels.

The most noticeable thing about the left side of the mouse is the range of extra buttons; each numbered 1-8 and all ergonomically placed for easy access.

Under the buttons you’ll see a deep curve, providing a perfect resting position for your thumb and enough grip for those who like to use a lift-off technique.

The right side of the mouse features a wide side panel that provides a good finger resting position, and there is a deep recess towards the front; each makes the mouse ideal for palm rest and claw grip play styles respectively.

Towards the front edge of the right side you’ll also find another programmable button.

The top of the mouse features +/- buttons, as well as four LED indicators; these are for the DPI toggle which can be configured via the downloadable software.

The right side panel is clear plastic, a peak inside allows you to see the V8 engine model on the mouse interior; obviously not a real engine, but certainly a cool style point.

There is a slight curve and a grip coating to the left and right mouse buttons, adding even more control and stability to the mouse. The mouse wheel is quite slim, but it features a grippy rubber coating that makes it easy to control.

There are three ventilation holes at the back of the mouse; these serve no purpose other than the fact they look cool.

There are two large Teflon slip-mats and one smaller one on the under side of the mouse; these should be more than enough to provide good glide on any decent gaming surface.

Of course we have one the best gaming surfaces for this mouse, the Thunder P3; an ultra-wide premium grade gaming mouse mat.
