Price
The Aorus Thunder M7 gaming mouse is available from most major retailers for a little over £60; this isn’t exactly cheap, but in terms of features it sits comfortable next to similar price and specification models from Logitech, Razer and Corsair.
Overview
There are a lot of incredible MMO gaming mice on the market for around the same price as the Aorus Thunder M7, such as the Logitech G600, Razer Naga series and the Corsair Vengeance M95; all of which are very popular and great options for any serious gamer. Is the Thunder M7 better than these mice? Not really, but it’s on par and that’s what really matters. Some of the competing mice offer different sensors, more or less buttons and each certainly offers a unique design, the trick is to find the one you think is going to work best for you.
The Thunder M7 is packed full of features that make it a solid all-rounder; its ergonomic shape makes it a great choice for both palm rest and claw grip play styles, it’s very easy to get a firm grip on the mouse and it glides incredibly well on a wide range of surfaces. It features lots of easily customisable buttons, with easy to use software that will satisfy MMO gaming mouse newcomers, as well as pro gamers, and it’s as adept at MMO gaming as it is for browsing the web and general day-to-day use.
Build quality is on par with the best in its class, and while it is mostly plastic construction, all surfaces have been nicely finished and with a premium look and feel to them. The real winner here is aesthetics, while I admit that style is a subjective quality, I think the M7 looks absolutely stunning and the evil eye headlights are a nice touch.
