Performance
Cinebench
Straight away, the Commando is coming out guns blazing, setting our fastest score yet at 1002.
Overclocking to 3866 took the score up higher still, hitting a robust score of 1003.
AIDA64
It should come as no surprise that they also set our highest AIDA64 score too, hitting a record score for read, write and copy!
Interestingly, performance dropped once overclocked. I tweaked some settings, but just couldn’t get this up, and it could be a heat issue, as the DIMMs are already running fast out of the box.
Their impressive performance doesn’t slow down here either, with our lowest latency so far, meaning they’re going to be fast and responsive when you need them to be.
Latency did increase once overclocked, but of course, this will vary on your motherboard and CPU combination.
WPrime
Not our fastest score for WPrime, but certainly competitive. Overclocking didn’t benefit the performance either, which is a shame, but this is still a very fast kit.
3DMark Fire Strike
When it comes to graphics performance, the Commando is delivering the right results for us, hitting a new record score for 3DMark Physics test, and holding onto that top score once overclocked. It seems this is the memory to get if you’re planning a new gaming PC!
