APNX is a new player in the components market going by the full name Advanced Performance Nexus, and has today marked its first milestone with the global release of its first product, the C1 gaming chassis which has been crafted by a team with over 20 years of experience within the market.
The APNX C1 is a fairly standard-looking PC case in shape size and internals, however, its key feature is the wraparound perforated front and side panel with smooth curved edges that provide a very clean and minimalist look whilst also not looking too similar to the competition. The perforated panels also cover the top panel allowing for strong fan configurations to keep your hardware running cool. The chassis makes use of sturdy 8mm thick SGCC and SECC steel and is also equipped with removable dust filters for keeping it clean. The I/O is respectable with two USB 3.0 Type A ports, one USB 3.0 Type-C and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Cooling is a major part of this case with the inclusion of four 30mm thick APNX FP1 fans pre-installed. These fans are superior to the standard 25mm thick case fans as they allow for wider fan blades to push air up to 30-50% more effectively than the 25mm versions. In total this case can support up to 11 fans and dual 360mm radiators for water-cooling enthusiasts.
Hardware compatibility is plentiful with lots of clearance for some of the biggest GPUs which are also aided by an optional GPU riser card and holder for keeping the chunkier cards held up, and vertical cards looking stylish. The rear of the case offers lots of cable management room with a removable cable management sidebar on the motherboard backplate allowing for a way to funnel and hide your cables.
“This launch is a historical moment for me and I think many of the people in our team,” said TonyLin, CEO of APNX. “We have been in this industry for decades and APNX is our first chance tocollaborate and put everything we’ve learned into a single brand. So far the series has exceededeveryone’s expectations.”
At the time of release, the case will be sold at an MSRP starting at £139.98. Colour options include
black, white, or a special grade ChromaFlare blue/purple finish. Availability may vary by region.
