Apparently Microsoft has Never Heard of 4chan

It’s not uncommon for the business world and popular culture to clash, more often than not, it ends in hilarious consequences, but Microsofts’ latest gaff may be one of the best ones yet. It seems that no one at Microsoft has ever heard of a little thing called 4chan, legendary for its on going thread of chaos known as /b/.

With the Microsoft Build 2015 event upon us, Microsoft has tried to come up with some smart branding to try and simplify things, but I’m guessing they don’t see the confusion, or the funny side of calling Build 2015 by the name /b
This isn’t going to end well for Microsoft, they’re practically inviting themselves to get trolled into oblivion by 4chan members and it’s only a matter of time before they start getting laughed at on twitter.
Oh wait, it’s already happening, told you it wouldn’t take long!
It’s obviously too late for Microsoft to do anything about it, they’ve clearly already printed books, leaflets, banners, T-shirts and every other bit of material for the event with the /b logo. So if you see someone walking around sporting this branding, be sure to ask them which they support, Microsoft or 4chan?
