Apple has larger cash reserve than US Government

While we all know Apple is becoming a household name, and for all the right reasons, but maybe you didn’t quite realise just how rich Apple truly is.
In a report by Canadian broadsheet, the Financial Post, it was revealed that Apple has a cash reserve of US$75.876-billion, compared to the US$73.768-billion available to the U.S goverment.
On top of that:
Apple’s market capitalization currently stands at US$363.25-billion, making it the second largest company on the planet, after Exxon Mobil.
Of course, while these figures don’t really mean too much, it does indicate the power Apple has within the technology industry, and when you have this much cash to spend, it also gives you an incredible lead and advantage over other manufacturers, especially if you invest it correctly, leading to a wider gap between Apple and its competitors.
We will leave you with this final thought. Will we soon be paying the infamous “Apple Tax” on more than just electronics in time to come, especially now that Apple is “richer” than the most powerful nation in the world? At least for some of us, while they continue to produce good products, why should we mind how rich they are?
