Now that CES is over and done with, it’s time for the big boys to start showing more information on their new products and Apple are no exception. Their leader Steve Jobs may be out of action for the foreseeable future but that doesn’t mean business will grind to a halt, no Sir!
Apple’s rumour mill are still going and more information has been exposed on the 2nd generation iPad of which the main focus is that the resolution could possibly be doubled from 1024×768 to a whopping 2048×1536.
Of course this is just another rumour, and others include the retina display that the iPhone 4 sports but the suspected higher resolution of the iPad 2 will result in higher processing power, which could lead to a revised processor. This could include a new version of the ARM processors, whether it be the A4, A5 or even the A8 but this could also bump the price up too.
Other knock on effects from this would include taking its toll on weight and of course battery life, unless Apple are looking at developing new technology for that too?
