Apple is expected to release a new member to its iPad range of tablets, the iPad Pro, next year. The iPad Pro will reportedly feature a 12.9-inch Retina display of some high-resolution, we’re sure, but it will also arrive with a next-gen processor inside, too.
The new iPad Pro should arrive with the next-gen A9 processor, which the latest rumours are pointing to. Previous rumours had Apple using a souped up version of the A8 processor found in the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which would arrive to us as the A8X, but the latest reports are kicking it up to the A9 SoC instead. We don’t know what the A9 will bring us, but we can be sure it’ll be increased performance and battery life, with a nice thin frame for the iPad Pro.
