Apple iPhone X Bug Leaves Owners Unable To Answer

iPhone X Bug
Smartphones these days are capable of a lot of amazing things. Playing games, e-mails, social media, music etc. One of the more fundamental things, however, is actually being able to receive telephone calls.
A newly identified bug with iPhone X phones, however, has owners unable to answer incoming calls. Suddenly that £999 phone can’t even do something a £20 off the shelf model can.
Bug in the machine
In a report via the Guardian, following the most recent IOS update, some users have found that when incoming calls are made to their phone, the phone’s screen locks up.
The report suggests that Apple‘s forums are currently being flooded with complaints with some suggesting that the screen locks can occur for anything from 6-8 seconds.
Has Apple provided a fix for the issue?
Yes, and no. It would seem that Apple’s temporarily solution would be to restart the phone and in fairness, this would seem to sort the problem out. It is, however, only a temporary fix. Users are reporting that after 10-15 calls the exact same issue
A post on the forums has said: “Sometimes the screen does not turn on and this problem can last for a few seconds or remains permanent until I do a forced reboot.”
Drop in demand!
Overall, the iPhone X, while popular on release, has not taken off anything like Apple would have hoped. In a report from only last week, we found out that due to low-demand, production on the phone was being cut and it may even be discontinued in the Summer.
A permanent fix for this issue will surely be on the way shortly, but as above, for a £999 phone, you would have hoped for better. At least they’re not exploding anymore.
