I’m a big fan of Apple, but haven’t had much of a chance to try out their latest and greatest computers, but iPhone wise, I love it, and have done since the original launch many moons ago.
Well they must be doing something right on the computer side of things as sales are booming for them and this week sees them focussing on giving even better value for money on their iMac’s with a sub $1000 machine. Apple have offered cheaper computers in the past for the purposes of educating the masses and this time sees the next generation components used with a fantastic price tag attached.
The new iMac will offer a Intel Core i3 processor at 3.1GHz, AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics card and a 250GB hard drive giving it ample performance and storage space for the type of users it’s targeted towards.
There is a catch and Apple have made this quite clear, but the new cheaper iMac will only be available for educational purposes and cannot be bought by the average Joe, sorry folks.
