Apple Siri Speakers to go into Production

Apple is reportedly starting production of the Apple Siri Speaker. The announcement is expected to be confirmed at WWDC later this month. Such a product is not unexpected with Google Home and Amazon Echo already setting their market shares.

What can we expect from the Apple Siri Speaker?

Firstly, probably a snappier title than that. That being said, Siri has come a long way.  We can still find our article showing off its incredible levels of user voice interaction. The announcement from Bloomberg is mostly speculative however an unnamed source has said that the product will have: “virtual surround sound technology and deep integration with Apple’s product lineup“. This would be an advancement on the current market competitors. Rumours point to a significantly better quality of the speaker being included, making it highly desirable for the audiophiles out there.

The product is also expected to be part of the Apple ‘Homekit’ system which is looking to be a total interactive home tool for lighting, heating and even audio it seems.

When can we expect this on the market?

The official announcement of the product is expected to be made as part of the WWDC later this month. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Apple is keen to get this to the market as quickly as possible. They will be keen not to miss the Christmas rush and more importantly, losing more of the market share to Google and Amazon.

Users should not expect it to be less expensive than its counterparts. Apple is rarely cheap. On the plus side, the product can be expected to be of a notably better quality. Apple rarely fails to trump the competition. The only concern is that Apple doesn’t rush this out the door. A mistake in fairness, which they rarely make.
