Apple Watch Gets Windows 95 Upgrade!

Windows 95 has been installed on quite a few gadgets over the last few years, including a Nintendo 3DS XL and even a Samsung Gear smartwatch. It looks like the latest device to join the fold is none other than the Apple Watch, as a developer named Nick Lee has recently posted a YouTube video that shows off the famous operating system running on one of these gadgets. Naturally, the loading times and response times are quite low, but the important thing here is that the OS actually booted up in the first place. According to Lee, the Apple Watch specs are actually way above those of a typical computer that used to run Windows 95 back in the day, which is pretty incredible if you think about it.
Obviously, installing Windows 95 on this Apple device wasn’t easy. The developer had to modify Apple’s development software in “rather unorthodox ways,” which allowed him to transform Windows 95 into an Apple Watch app of sorts. Furthermore, in order to prevent the watch from falling asleep when it is not in use, he had to create a motorized tube that constantly operates the crown. In the video, it looks like Lee is swiping in order to issue commands, but he actually modified the Watch’s software in order to make Windows 95 track a single fingertip. You can have a look at this video below.
