Aqua Computer Reveal Innovative Cuplex Kryos NEXT CPU Water Block

Aqua Computer looks set to raise the bar for custom loop water cooling hardware today, as they reveal what looks to be the next-generation of CPU blocks, the Cuplex Kryos NEXT.
Not only do they claim that this block offers the “best cooling performance on the market” thanks to its very low flow resistance, as well as the high-precision and high-quality materials construction, but it comes with some very interesting extra features we’ve never seen before. With VISION technology, basically a buzz word for there being a tiny screen slammed into the block, you can read measurements such as temperature right from the cooler.
You’ll also find VARIO technology, which allows the shape of the contact plate to be changed from concave to convex, ensuring the best fit over your CPU for optimal contact and cooling.
If that wasn’t enough, how about some RGB lighting? If you choose the Plexiglas housing model, you’ll find RGB lighting with temperature and load reaction effects.
The block comes with a completely revised mounting system, will be available in Plexiglas, Delrin, Brass, and Copper finishes, and the contact plate will also have a .925 sterling silver option. Prices start at 59.90 EUR/$65 and are available now.
“The cuplex kryos NEXT marks a new milestone in CPU water block development. Every detail has been analyzed, optimized and tested to achieve perfection in cooling performance, installation procedure and product features. The result is not just a CPU water block with outstanding performance – it is a product series with various models differing in color and functionality.”
“The VARIO models are the first CPU water blocks globally to incorporate a real-time adjustable base – never before has it been possible to adjust the geometry of a CPU block to perfectly fit the CPU while the PC is in operation. Models with VISION module are equipped with modern electronics: High resolution OLED display, integrated water temperature sensor and USB interface are just three of the features.”
