As with most Arctic VGA products, the packaging is compact, sturdy and simple. Arctic have included a web address to the installation manual on the front, a helpful touch which allows them to cut down on waste by not printing the manual. The front also calls out key performance details, such as 34 degrees lower temperatures and 9 times less noise versus the reference design. The plastic packaging is compact and well sealed but thankfully not that horrendous clam shell packaging that we see too often on many products.
The back of the packaging lists important details, some of which we already mentioned on the first page, such as compatibility, specifications, accessories, a product diagram and key features. You also get a glimpse at the 5 copper heat pipes and very dense alumium heat sink fins.
Accessories included are two 2g bags of G-1 thermal compound/glue , one white and one grey. Four 3mm spacers, four 3.5mm spacers, four M2 screws, 2 pieces of adhesive tape, 5 pieces of insulation tape, one black square of EVA foam, a metal GPU backplate, a spreader, a high airflow PCI bracket and a 4 pin fan power adapter cable. There are also 31 individual heat sinks which we have pictured in more detail below.
Of the 31 heat sinks you probably won’t need every single one but there are enough heat sinks to cool all the memory chips and voltage regulation and monitoring (VRM) components.
