A Closer Look
The Twin Turbo Pro is very striking when looking at it head on. The 11 bladed white fans stand out very well against the black of the rest of the cooler’s face. The extremely shiny copper heatpipes also make a good addition to the aesthetics of the cooler. We love how Arctic Cooling have punched holes into the faceplate to give the cooler a rugged and high performance style.
Looking at the bottom of the cooler reveals 35 cooling fins as well as the 4 copper heatpipes. A copper base is used on the Twin Turbo Pro as well as a pre-applied film of Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal paste.
It is possible to remove the fans from the heatsink although it does require a firm hand and some patience. Cleaning the cooler is far easier when the heatsink and fans are handled separately.
When separating the cooler, we were forced to remove the “Twin Turbo Pro” sticker to access the 2 screws attaching the fans to the heatsink.
The heatpipes split into 2 pairs with each heatpipe running through the heatsink directly underneath the fan locations.
Little touches such as the name of the cooler imprinted onto the side of the heatsink are what gives a buyer reassurance that they are buying a high quality product.
A 4 pin and 3 pin graphics card fan connector is available to connect the fans to a variety of graphics cards.
