Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro VGA Cooler Crossfire Review

InstallationArctic Cooling supply all of the RAM and voltage regulator heatsinks needed to keep the card’s components sufficiently cooled. They use a sticky thermal tape to stick onto each individual component which could be problematic after the first installation due to a poorer contact.
The cooler engulfs the majority of our Radeon HD 4870’s 10″ PCB. In our opinion it looks amazing when fitted onto a graphics card.
Be sure you have enough room inside your case as this bad boy takes up a whopping 3 PCI expansion slots.
The twins (pun intended) look brilliant when fitted inside our case. Even better, if your case has a side panel window you will be able to peek at them doing their job as you game. The humongous 6 expansion slots they dictate renders the majority of the rest of the motherboard’s expansion capabilities useless.
Thankfully, I can tell you that installation was fairly straightforward thanks in large to the excellent instruction sheet supplied. The process was aided by the fact that we installed the cooler onto a Radeon HD 4870 graphics card and the instruction sheet documented installation for a Radeon HD 4890 which is a very similar card. Nevertheless, you should have very little trouble installing this cooler on any graphics card.
