Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro VGA Cooler Crossfire Review
Luke Hill / 13 years ago
Test SetupFor comparison, we will be comparing our Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro VGA cooler against the stock cooler of the Radeon HD 4870 graphics card. This may sound like an unfair comparison, but we have to remember that the stock cooler is tailor made for each individual card meaning it can offer a good compromise between performance, noise and production cost. In contrast, the Twin Turbo Pro is designed to fit a variety of graphics cards meaning that it may not always offer better performance than it’s purpose built stock counterpart.
We are also comparing a couple of stock heatsink cooled, CrossFired Radeon HD 4870’s to the same cards each sporting a Twin Turbo Pro cooler.
