A direct-contact heatpipe heatsink is the most efficient CPU cooler design there is. It is commonly found on most mainstream coolers, hence most products tend to look the same. Which is why Arctic, with their new Freezer 33 eSports ONE is offering their new line in a variety of color options.
Each Freezer 33 eSports ONE comes with a 120mm Bionix fan available in four different colour options: white, red, yellow and green. The body of the fan itself is black like the heatsink, however the inner ring frame and mounting hole areas are coloured.
With this fan installed, the heatsink itself is only 88mm thick. This allows for optimal compatibility and clearance with surrounding components. Despite the relatively reserved 123 x 150 x 88mm size, Arctic recommends a healthy TDP support for 200W CPUs. The fan itself uses fluid-dynamic bearing and operates in PWM mode with a range of 200 to 1800 RPM.
In terms of socket support, Arctic provides support for all Intel sockets with the exception of older LGA1366 and LGA775. It also has AMD AM4 socket support, however it is incompatible with AM3+ or FM2+. Those with a Threadripper TR4 socket system would have to opt for Arctic’s special Threadripper Freezer 33 TR.
The Arctic Freezer 33 eSports ONE is available for only $29.99 USD. Surprisingly, it has a rather lengthy warranty period of 10-years.
