Arctic MC001-BD Blu-Ray Entertainment Center Review

The packaging is well presented in a clean and stylish box. A picture of the unit takes up the majority of the box with the main features scattered down the sides. It’s also worth noting that the model we have comes inclusive of a DVB-T TV tuner card. Also being a Blu-Ray capable device, the box informs you of this in the bottom right.

The side of the box details the package contents in many different languages to appeal to the mass global market.

The opposite side shows a rear view of the unit and the connection that are present on the I/O.  Just to the right is a full breakdown of the components within, including processor, graphics, SSD, WiFi capabilities and what connections are available including USB 3.0.

Moving to the rear of the box, we find a lot of information on the device itself and how it can be used to give you the best multimedia entertainment experience within your home.

Taking a look at the bundle, due to the slimline style of the unit, it uses an external power supply, much like a notebook and is split into two parts which allows for easy transportation.

Also included is one of the best looking HDMI cables I’ve ever seen, but as we know gold plated connectors etc… don’t add to the quality of a digital signal, but it does look and feel nice. Also included is a small adjustable WiFi antenna which screws onto the rear of the unit.

Also included is a brief instruction guide, a complimentary slip, warning guide and Windows 7 Home Premium which comes pre-installed on the unit.

Lastly included, as we have the model with option TV tuner, we find an included TV antenna for those who don’t have a roof-mounted aerial.
