The BIOS included on the unit is a standard affair that we’d expect. All of the main features are present and we will look at each page in a little bit more detail. It would have been nice to see a UEFI BIOS but it may be a bit overkill for novice users of this device.
The standard CMOS page just lists the time, data and BIOS version.
Advanced setup gives you options to change the boot order and other boot orientated settings.
The advanced chipset setup gives options on changing the DVMT mode and memory size.
The integrated peripherals screen allows you to change the USB, audio and LAN functionality.
The power management setup screen allows you to enable and disable the various PowerOn functions of the computer.
The PC health status screens allows us to enable a shutdown and warning temperature as well as monitor the CPU, GPU and system temperatures.
The frequency/voltage control options are quite limited and just allow you to enable/disable the DIMM Clk auto detection and spread spectrum which we would normally use when overclocking the BCLK.
