Arctic P402 Dynamic Supra-Aural Headset Review
Peter Donnell / 12 years ago
The Arctic P402’s feature a flexible but durable feeling headband, with slide adjustable ear cups, both of which are mounted on a hinge to allow for a much better fit over your ears.
The ear cups can be turned out a full 90 degrees, allowing me to show you the soft padding around the drivers. Although Arctic’s site is completely lacking in information on the size of the drivers, this isn’t a bad thing but it would be nice to know.
The headset comes with an in-line microphone, which doesn’t look anything special but its always a nice feature to have, its pretty small too which should mean it’s unobtrusive for those that don’t use it often, or at all for that matter.
The side of each ear cup comes finished with a silver plastic detail that features the Arctic logo, although I assure you it looks better in real life and that my camera just hated taking picture of its slightly reflective surface.
The headset came with an adapter to use the in-line microphone and while that is all good and well, other than the colour of the jack plugs I’m fairly certain they’re both identical, anyone else see something I’ve missed?
