Arctic readying the Accelero Xtreme III for a May launch

Arctic are readying the latest VGA cooler in the Accelero Xtreme series. The Xtreme III which will succeed the Xtreme II features a similar design to the Xtreme II probably along the “if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it” lines. The Arctic Accelero Xtreme III features the following:
- Unmatched cooling performance – 300 Watts
- 3 ultra quiet 92mm PWM fans with low noise impeller
- 5 heatpipes and 84 fins for efficient heat dissipation
- Patented fan holder eliminates the buzzing sounds
- Enhanced RAM and VR cooling by thermal adhesive
- Pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound
- CrossFire, SLI compatible
The cooler is compatible with the latest GTX 680 from Nvidia but lacks compatibility with AMD’s HD 7970 and HD 7950 cards. Full compatibility:

Arctic have stated that the Accelero Xtreme III will be available from May the 21st. The card will come with a 6 year warranty, priced at $119.95 / €90.41.
