ARCTIC Reveals The P8 Max 80mm PWM Fan

ARCTIC are a brand that I stand behind for solid great-value products with great customer support and today they have released their new P8 MAX 80mm PWM cooling fan.

ARCTIC P8 Max PWM Cooling Fan

The P8 Max is an upgrade to the existing P8 PWM cooling fan and boasts increased speeds. This powerful 80mm fan is ARCTIC’s most powerful option with speeds ranging from 500 to 5000 RPM and can even be throttled down to a standstill under low load operations. Alongside these fast speeds, the P8 MAX also boasts extraordinary efficiency only consuming 0.06 amps at 3000 RPM which is more than half that of the P8 which required 0.14 amps.

Small Size, High Performance

The small size of the P8 at 80mm means that it is not an ideal choice for your standard gaming rig with 120mm and 140mm options. Alternatively, this fan is better suited for heatsinks, radiators pinholes and tightly packed cases thanks to its significant static pressure, plus it fits perfectly in 2U server case racks. This fan delivers incredible performance with its small size plus it can maintain that performance for a long time thanks to the use of long-lasting ball bearings but come with the downside of a louder operation.

Price and Availability

The P8 MAX is available today from the ARCTIC Webshop as well as Amazon for a starting price of 9,99€ (RRP 12,99€)
