Arctic Summair & Summair Plus Desktop Fan Review

Arctic Summair
Looking at the Arctic Summair first, we see that the front of the box is a very simple design, nothing overly flashy that would put off an average consumer, just a simple illustration of the fan and a product name.
The back of the box is a similar sight, very simple, but as you would expect there is more information here. What is a key thing to see here for me and is something I’d like to see more and more on future products from all companies is the QR code that links to an online version of the manual; saving on paper waste. As well as that, we see some more detailed product information, including all the important technical specifications that we will talk about in further detail later.
With the box open there is a simple tray that slides out revealing the fan underneath a cardboard flap.
unfolding the cardboard lets us see the fan in the flesh for the first time, where we can see where the cable was hiding away.
Arctic Summair Plus
Moving on to look at the Summair Plus we see a very similar design to the regular Summair, but what we have is a white fan so to reflect that the printing on the box has now changed to white to match, a nice touch that easily set the two apart.
Inside the box seems to be the same tray holding the fan and cable in place.
Opening the flap shows us the fan for the first time, and this time we can see that the cable doesn’t appear to be attached to the fan.
This is because the Summair Plus comes with a detachable cable that is used to charge the integrated battery. This is where the Plus in the name comes from, the same product, but this version works independently.
