ARCTIC’s Coolers Will Be Fully Compatible With LGA 1851

Intel’s LGA 1851 Socket motherboards and Arrow Lake CPUs are still a wait away with an expected 2024 launch and at the moment most of the details are still in the dark. One thing we do know is that the socket will be compatible with current LGA-1700 coolers.

ARCTIC Compatibility With LGA 1851 Socket

ARCTIC has shared the information that their current lineup of coolers, at least the ones purchased from October 2023, will fit the LGA 1851 socket without restrictions. It is claimed that the LGA 1851 socket’s mechanical dimensions will remain identical to LGA-1700 based on current knowledge meaning that their coolers will be ready on day one. ARCTIC will also be ready to provide free upgrade kits if it does turn out to be necessary.

Its always nice to know that those upgrading won’t have to worry about getting a new cooler or waiting on an upgrade kit to use their new CPU when they eventually release.
