Asgard AESIR DDR5 32GB 4800MHz Memory Review

Packaging & Unboxing
The front of the box has some information on the modules design, features and compatibility. The front of the box also has a picture of the memory itself as well as a very well drawn picture of a Viking like figure who is presumably a Norse God himself.
The back of the box is very simple. It has nothing more than a short paragraph of marketing, a more detailed feature list and a product barcode.
With the outer sleeve removed we are met with a very simple plain black box with an Asgrad logo in shiny red text in the middle. This has a very premium feel to it and looks very mature.
Upon lifting the magnetic flap of the box we are presented with a very nice looking bit of card that has prints of the RAMs design process and small credits to the designer of the product, as well as credit to the person who had the idea for it. This addition of credit is a nice touch and something we don’t generally see.
Once that is out of the way we get are first look at the memory in the flesh. It has a sticker on it with information on the DIMMs themselves and a QR code that leads to the official Asgard WeChat account, for some reason.
The high quality foam tray that the memory is sitting in has a pull tab in the middle that once lifted out reveals a second compartment containing……a pair of very small white gloves, and nothing else. Even though its split into three compartments, half of this bottom section is being used for nothing.
