ASRock has unveiled the first Fatal1ty branded AMD motherboard in its history. The premium quality Fatal1ty 990FX board will obviously be based off the latest AMD 990FX chipset and will have full support for the new AM3+ Bulldozer CPU’s up to the 8 core models. The board has the signature Fatal1ty colour scheme of red and black, whilst supporting an impressive 14 phase digital PWM design that will support 140W chips. It has four DDR3 DIMM slots supporting speeds upwards of 2000MHz something AMD has been behind on Intel for a while now.
The board also uses ASRock’s Xfast USB and Xfast LAN connections allowing for high responsiveness between your gaming mouse and keyboard or the ability to prioritize internet bandwidth to your more favoured applications. The UEFI bios has also been given a Fatal1ty makeover with some added features to make it stand out over lower end ASRock boards.
