ASRock’s UEFI BIOS implementation isn’t exactly the prettiest out there. Some of the best UEFIs use a 1920 x 1080 native resolution but this one only uses a 1024 x 768 projection. Nonetheless it still has all the features you’d need from a high-end BIOS including overclocking features that we’ve already mentioned. This motherboard only has one BIOS provided on the website, we are of course using that one BIOS so by logic there is no reason for any B85 Killer motherboard from ASRock to not support K Series overclocking. We actually found this BIOS was similar to other ASRock BIOSes like the ones on the Z87M Extreme 4 and Z87 Extreme 6. As I said in those respective reviews the BIOS is a little tricky for overclocking so I recommend users try out the default 4.4 and 4.6GHz pre-set profiles and then tweak ratios and voltages to find the best possible performance at the lowest possible voltage for their particular CPU. Going at it without some automated help can be tough as the Haswell architecture is a lot more complex than Ivy or Sandy Bridge in terms of voltages and ratios.
