ASRock Launches 3 New Phantom Gaming Z790 Motherboards For Intel 14th Gen

Today ASRock has revealed three new Phantom Gaming Z790 motherboards to coincide with the launch of Intel’s 14th Gen Processors including Z790 Lightning, Riptide and the all-new Flagship NOVA motherboard.

ASRock Phantom Gaming Z790 NOVA WiFi

The ASRock Phantom Gaming Z790 NOVA WiFi is ASRock’s new flagship gaming motherboard which features server-grade, low-loss 8-layer PCB with 2 oz copper, 20+1+1 Phase SPS Dr.MOS VRMs and a long-lasting 20K 105°C black capacitors to unlock the full potential of Intel’s latest chips. This motherboard boasts DDR5 potential of up to 8000 MHz as well as new WiFi 7 connectivity providing next-generation WiFi speeds. This motherboard is also packed with M.2 featuring six of the damn things one of which being Gen 5 and the other five Gen 4 all placed underneath multi-layer aluminium heatsinks built into the motherboard.

ASRock Phantom Gaming Z790 Riptide WiFi

The Phantom Gaming Z790 Riptide WiFi is a more mainstream motherboard which uses 16+1+1 Phase SPS Dr.MOS VRMs and long-lasting capacitors on an 8-layer low-loss PCB. This board allows maximum performance to any LGA 1700 processor and take DDR5 speeds into new extremes. It features five M.2 slots one being Gen 5 and the other four being Gen 4 and it offers WiFi 7 connectivity.

ASRock Phantom Gaming Z790 Lightning WiFi

The Phantom Gaming Z790 Lightning WiFi is the more affordable of the three though still allows for maximum performance on any LGA 1700 processor. Like the others, it features a 16+1+1 Phase Dr.MOS VRMs and a powerful 8-layer PCB with the capabilities to push DDR5 performance to new extremes. It comes with five M.2 slots one Gen 5 and four Gen 4 but it only includes a heatsink for the Gen 5 slot.

Existing Motherboard Support

For those on older 600 and 700 series boards, ASRock will release a new BIOS for 14th gen support at the ASRock website.
