ASRock preparing the Fatal1ty X79 Pro board

ASRock is preparing its 7th X79 motherboard for the LGA 2011 socket. The Fatal1ty X79 Professional board will be targeted at gamers and features:
- a 2oz copper PCB
- premium gold caps
- four DDR3-2400 slots
- six SATA III 6gb/s ports
- four SATA II 3gb/s ports
- four PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots (4-way SLI/CFX support)
ASRock have also taken into consideration that additional connectivity may be needed for devices such as sound or network cards and consequently included a PCI-E 2.0 1X slot and two PCI slots. There is a healthy six USB 3.0 ports provided four by the rear panel and two via a front header intended for the case. For overclockers there is a useful diagnostic debug LED provided, onboard 7.1 HD audio is provided, two eSATA ports, one Fatal1ty mouse port (USB 2.0, allows users to set the mouse polling rate to 500 Hz), Gigabit Ethernet, a FireWire port, and a Clear CMOS button.
It also packs the traditional ASRock technologies like XFast USB and XFast LAN as well as being bundled with an 3.5″ front panel USB 3.0 to internal header connector for cases which do not have native USB 3.0 support.
