During our visit at ASRock Rack’s Computex 2016 booth, we also took a look at some of their 2U servers for various server scenarios. The overall concept is compact and the power you can harness from mini-ITX systems – may they be SoC, C236, or C612 based.
Two of the systems shown are the 2U4N-F/X200 4-node system for I/O intensive tasks and the other is the 2U2G with plenty of storage and GPU power.
Redundant systems, plenty of NVMe support for the fastest possible storage setups, platinum rated power supplies, and an overall efficiency that’s hard to match in the size, that’s what ASRock Rack is demonstrating this year at Computex.
The systems in themselves look as systems like these do. For the most part, we have drive bays on the front and a long 19″ chassis to hold it all.
Thanks to a transparent cover in the demo model, we also get a look inside the ASRock Rack 2U2G system.
Naturally, you can expand these servers with great connectivity options on top of the default motherboard connectors. This includes up to 50Gbps Ethernet adapters for the perfect network connectivity.
Stay tuned for more Computex 2016 news as we make our rounds through the halls of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
