The Intel X-Series of CPUs use a lot of power; there’s no hiding that. It takes a lot of power to make a lot of performance, but with that in mind, the latest motherboard from ASRock is pretty efficient. It uses less energy at stock and while overclocked that most X299 motherboards, while still delivering similar benchmark performance.
