Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is now available on iPhone and iPad. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first full console game from Ubisoft to launch on Apple’s mobile devices.
The game is compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPads equipped with M1 chips or newer. Players can start the adventure in ninth-century Baghdad for free, with the full game available through an in-app purchase. To celebrate the launch, Ubisoft is offering a 50% discount on the full game until June 20.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes players back to the roots of the franchise with a focus on stealth gameplay. Players will step into the shoes of Basim Ibn Ishaq, using tools like throwing knives, sleeping darts, and smoke bombs to navigate and survive in a detailed medieval Baghdad.
This release showcases the potential of bringing console-quality games to mobile devices, leveraging the power of Apple’s latest technology. As mobile gaming continues to evolve, Assassin’s Creed Mirage sets a high bar for future titles. Ubisoft’s successful adaptation might lead to more AAA games coming to iOS in the near future.
