Assassin’s Creed Shadows Gets Update 1.0.1: Here’s What’s New
Ubisoft has released Update 1.0.1 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows across all platforms. This is a hotfix, meaning it’s a small update aimed at quickly fixing some of the issues players reported during the early days after the game’s launch.
The update is available for download now, and according to Ubisoft’s details, it has the following sizes: 1.41 GB for PS5, 8.88 GB for Xbox Series X|S, 7.03 GB for PC, and 9 GB for Mac.
What’s New in the Update?
As mentioned, this is a minor update, so there are not many changes, but the improvements are welcomed by the players. The official notes from Ubisoft mention that it has resolved some general issues that affected the game’s stability, although they haven’t specified the exact problems.
Another key part of the update is the fix for two bugs in the Photo Mode. For PS5, the issue where the game would crash when trying to view photos on the game map has been solved. On PC, a problem that caused the application to crash when taking a photo has also been fixed.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ Success
In the meantime, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is seeing excellent sales numbers. In the UK, it was the best-selling game last week and even surpassed the sales of Star Wars Outlaws in just one week, while it took the latter three months to reach those numbers.
This update helps improve the game’s overall performance and keeps things running smoothly for players.
