Resolution and Performance on Consoles
The resolution for each console version is as follows:
- Xbox Series S: Between 1280 x 720 and 1920 x 1080
- PS5 and Xbox Series X (Quality Mode): Between 1920 x 1080 and 2880 x 1620
- PS5 and Xbox Series X (Balanced Mode): Between 1600 x 900 and 2560 x 1440
- PS5 and Xbox Series X (Performance Mode): Between 1440 x 810 and 2560 x 1440
The resolution is affected by upscaling, with the Xbox Series S version reaching 1620p, while the other versions reach up to 4K.
Frame Rate and Ray Tracing
As for the frame rate, the game’s target on each console is as follows:
- Xbox Series S: 30 FPS
- PS5 and Xbox Series X (Quality Mode): 30 FPS
- PS5 and Xbox Series X (Balanced Mode): 40 FPS (with 120Hz screens), but the cutscenes and the Hideout run at 30 FPS
- PS5 and Xbox Series X (Performance Mode): 60 FPS, with cutscenes and the Hideout at 30 FPS
Ray tracing is fully active in Quality Mode and Balanced Mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X, while on the Xbox Series S and in Performance Mode, it’s only present in the Hideout. Additionally, the hair physics aren’t active on Xbox Series S and are only enabled during cutscenes and in the Hideout in Performance Mode.
