Assassin’s Creed Shadows to Fully Utilize Ray Tracing on PC, Enhancing Feudal Japan’s Environments

Ubisoft has released a trailer showcasing how Assassin’s Creed Shadows will fully take advantage of ray tracing on PC, using this and other next-generation technologies to bring the stunning beauty of feudal Japan to life.
Optimized for High Performance
The new chapter of the saga, optimized for Intel Core Ultra processors, will support all available upscaling solutions (such as DLSS, FSR, and XeSS), as well as Frame Generation tools to maximize the frame rate while maintaining the same resolution.
Ray tracing will be applied to global illumination and reflections, giving the environments an unmatched atmosphere. But that’s not all: players will be able to unlock frames, use ultrawide screens, and check performance with an integrated benchmark.
Wide Scalability and Customization
The developers promise wide scalability with a variety of graphic settings and a broad range of options to tailor the experience to individual needs.
The trailer also mentions the Immersive Mode of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, where characters will speak in their native languages, increasing the authenticity of the representation. But there’s more.
The game will feature dynamic seasons, each influencing gameplay and creating new possibilities, along with a level of environmental destruction never before seen in the Ubisoft series.
The finishing touch will be the inclusion of dynamic wind and environmental particles, two technologies that will add extra charm and realism to the locations you’ll visit during the campaign of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
