Astro Bot Credits Tease Possible DLC Cameos Featuring Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, and More

The recent end credits for Astro Bot have sparked speculation about potential downloadable content (DLC) featuring some major gaming franchises. While the game has already been praised for its nostalgic cameos from PlayStation’s history, observant fans noticed that several iconic games and characters were thanked in the credits without actually appearing in the game.

Several notable titles, such as Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, Stellar Blade, Worms, and Croc, were acknowledged, leading to speculation that these characters may appear in future DLC. Team Asobi, the developers of Astro Bot, have previously confirmed new challenge levels and speedrun stages as upcoming free DLC.

Missing Cameos in Credits Spark Speculation

The credits also name-dropped companies such as Ubisoft and Shift Up for their respective franchises, despite the lack of in-game appearances. This absence could mean these characters were either cut from the base game or saved for upcoming content.

While players continue to speculate about future cameos, nothing official has been confirmed yet. Team Asobi’s challenge-level DLC is expected to follow the same structure as the base game, which rewards players with cameo bots after completing challenges. This makes it plausible that these missing franchises could feature in upcoming updates.

Astro Bot launched on September 6 and is available now on PS5.
