Before every major product launch, some partners inevitably leak out some information. With just 2 weeks to go until AMD released their new RX 500 series, some of their partners have already done some teasers. ASUS however, has gone all out and accidently leaked many of the upcoming models. While details are still bit scant, we do have model number confirmation.
As we’ve already seen, we have the RX 580 and RX 570 at the top of the stack. We have the ROG STRIX RX 580 8GB Gaming, ROG STRIX RX 580 8GB OC Gaming, ROG STRIX RX 570 4GB Gaming and ROG STRIX RX 570 4GB OC Gaming. We also have an online listing for the RX 580 OC which is set to cost £326 inc. VAT. While this is quite a bit more than the current prices for the RX 480, the higher clocks and pre-launch nature suggests similar pricing.
Moving down the line, we have the RX 550 2GB and RX 550 4GB which are likely based on Polaris 11 or new Polaris 12. This list is also not exhaustive as we will likely see at least the RX 560 make an appearance and perhaps even the RX 540 though not at launch. Hopefully, we will see more leaks come out before launch to provide more details.
