ASUS have recently announced their newest desktop – the M70. The M70, pictured above, is powered by Intel’s fourth generation Haswell processor architecture. The M70 comes with a choice of Core i3/i5/i7 processors and up to an Nvidia GTX 650 for graphics.
The unique aspect of the M70 is that it is the World’s First desktop PC with built in NFC. ASUS claim you can log into Windows, share content and launch applications all with your mobile device. The NFC also acts as a mobile backup syncing files from your phone to your PC. The password free NFC Windows 8 login and ability to quick launch applications are the M70’s biggest selling points according to ASUS.
ASUS have worked hard on the audio implementation and their SonicMaster package includes MaxxAudio from Waves and ASUS’ AudioWizard interface. The ASUS M70 also has an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) built in to allow you to have enough time to save your work when power cuts occur. ASUS Wireless charger is also present for tablets and smartphones that support the QI inductive power standard. Additionally ASUS equip the industry-standard universal storage module (USM) interface to the M70.
