ASUS has just announced that its highly anticipated ProArt Display 5K PA27JCV will be available for purchase in early November. This 27-inch professional-grade monitor boasts an impressive 5K (5120 x 2880) resolution, delivering incredibly sharp and detailed visuals with a pixel density of 218 ppi. Aimed at content creators and professionals who demand exceptional colour accuracy, the PA27JCV is factory calibrated to achieve a Delta E < 2 and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The 5K (5120 x 2880) resolution HDR panel of PA27JCV boasts a pixel density of 218 ppi – more than 2.6X that of a 27-inch FHD display. The high pixel density means text is sharp and easy to read, while enhanced visual clarity offers significant advantages for creators working on complex, detailed projects. HDR10 and VESA DisplayHDR 500 compatibility ensure the brightest whites and darkest black hues for exceptional contrast, resulting in rich, lifelike imagery to help digital artists fully realize their creative visions. What’s more, PA27JCV offers 77% more onscreen workspace compared to a 4K monitor of the same size, allowing creators to effortlessly and efficiently work across multiple apps and windows.
Color professionals rely on colour-accurate displays to ensure their creations look exactly as intended. PA27JCV boasts 99% DCI-P3, 95% Adobe RGB, and 100% sRGB colour coverage, as well as 10-bit colour depth to showcase more than 1.07 million onscreen colours to bring out the finest details in photos. Each ProArt display is factory-calibrated to meet the Calman Verified standard and achieve Delta E<2 colour accuracy.
Built-in ASUS Light Sync technology features two sensors designed to ensure remarkably bright visuals and accurate colour temperature. The backlight sensor automatically brightens the screen on startup to ensure vibrant imagery and reliable colour performance. The ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the monitor’s colour gamut based on environmental lighting, for realistic colours in any setting.
LuxPixel technology is an anti-glare, low-reflection (AGLR) coating that provides a paper-like screen effect. Unlike traditional matte-finish panels that show softer images, LuxPixel technology minimizes reflections to ensure the user only sees the most accurate colours and the sharpest details.
Built-in Auto KVM allows for effortless switching and control between two connected laptops and PCs with a single keyboard and mouse for easier multitasking.
PA27JCV is highly compatible with a wide range of devices and media sources, offering connectivity options such as DisplayPort, HDMI, USB hub, and a USB-C port that offers superfast data transfers, plus a DisplayPort with 96-watt Power Delivery. The USB-C connection enables users to connect to a laptop to access full USB-C functions via a single cable, making it the ideal monitor for creative professionals who use MacBook and Windows laptops. Additionally, the USB 3.2 hub along the bottom bezel of PA27JCV includes one USB Type-A and USB-C port, allowing for easy connections to a variety of devices and peripherals, as well as charge compatible devices.
